Mirage Gold is a high-end LED candle. It has a realistic feel thanks to the real wax outer shell and dancing candle light effect. My task at NII Nothern International (the amazing company behind the Mirage brand) was to update their old packaging and elevate it to a more sophisticated, more luxurious level while making sure that the new packaging still fits into the overall brand.
My inspiration mainly came from nature – the ember sparks of a campfire, the golden drops of mist in the glow of sunrise – and the trend of intricate handwriting. The final design with the dancing golden dots and the “Gold Collection” lettering was born within 3 weeks and gain widespread recognition at the 2017/I Atlanta Gift Show.
